The Five Yamas, Four Pavitra Yamas, and Five Niyamas

(The Five Ethical Observances, Four Sacred Moral Observances, and Five Internal Observances of Raja-Vinyasa Apex Yoga™)

The five Yamas, four Pavitra Yamas, and five Niyamas are foundational as well as central to Raja-Vinyasa Apex Yoga™:

This is the foundation from which all other Raja-Vinyasa Apex Yoga™ practices emanate from. They are not a cliché, they are not just something to be performed only when convenient - they are the underlying essence of Raja-Vinyasa Apex Yoga™.

I have found through my own direct firsthand experience these fourteen observances/values to be a "guiding light" illuminating the way, the path, along my journey in life. And I have found the "guiding light" often comes to shine most bright when significant challenges and crises occur along the course of my life, when sometimes I don't "intuitively see" how to deal with or respond to a challenge or crisis in alignment with these values, and I surrender to seeking Divine guidance.

Practicing these values so often reminds me of the proverbial pebble being dropped in a pond and seeing the ripples radiate outward in all directions and touching others. The "pebble" is the practice of one of the values, and the ripples that radiate outward is the "truth", "grace", and "radiance" of Divine Light emanating from within the practice of that value, and I have come to find through my own direct firsthand experience, as I practice these values, that these ripples even come back to me and touch me, as well.

Please note that it is very important, when having the intention to practice these values, to root that intention in proactively, mindfully, and deeply, reaffirming ALL these values every day, and sincerely trying to practice them, even on those occasions when it might feel difficult or inconvenient. I have found it does take sincere practice like anything else meaningful in life (e.g. playing a musical instrument, creating art, doing yoga poses, writing from the heart, teaching others, etc., etc.). Therefore I most sincerely encourage all who wish to practice these values and experience firsthand their profound benefit to others as well as one's Self, to take this to heart and proactively, mindfully, and deeply, reaffirm ALL of these values every day, not take them for granted, and practice them with the utmost sincerity. I reaffirm all these values in my daily "Morning Meditations, Intentions, and Affirmations" practice, as well as other times throughout my day, and I encourage others to intentionally establish a time and presence to also reaffirm these values for one's Self as one chooses, every day.

My very best regards,
