"Compassion: having compassion, for all beings, including myself, in thought, word, and deed."

-Keith Wolfe, founder of Raja-Vinyasa Apex Yoga

A couple notes of guidance for the "Compassion" practice:

1) First, ensure you have read and understand the Important and Sincere Note on the previous webpage listing the four Pavitra Yamas.

2) Before doing the actual practice, I recommend becoming really familiar with the phrase and depth of its meaning by sitting comfortably, breathing naturally, becoming fully present, and saying the phrase slowly three times, either out loud or silently to yourself, pausing at each comma for at least 1-2 seconds. Really be with it, and feel it as your are saying the meaning of the Compassion practice.

3) Then proceed with meditating on it for some time that feels right for you.

4) Then proceed with the practice of "Compassion".

5) Lastly, I recommend on a regular basis to recite the entire Compassion practice phrase above and reaffirm your intention to practice Compassion. I reaffirm this daily, with the intention to practice Compassion as part of who I am, along my journey in life.

Kind regards,

- Keith
